• Is a trade certificate or licence required?
• What could make this task unsafe?

Higher-risk tasks

Use extra caution for ladders, roofs, concrete drilling, heavy lifting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, gas, pest control, structural work, and permit-required renovations.

Business posters

If the work is recurring, supervised, scheduled, and integrated into your business, it may be employment rather than contractor work. Consider payroll and employment standards compliance.
